Helping you to find our Smart Technologies Solution!
Cyberphysical Systems Research Group from Centre for Cybersecurity, IoT & Cyberphysical Systems.
The Cyberphysical Systems Research Group aims to promote, develop and commercialise cutting edge smart technologies to advance our sustainable future society.
Welcome to the CyberPhysical System Research Group at School of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment, Edinburgh Napier University, UK.
The group leader is Professor Hongnian Yu and the deputy is Professor Chan Hwang See
Our overarching research interests are multi-disciplinary and have a number of cross cutting themes that include research in smart sensors, advanced communication, computational intelligence, autonomous systems, and Internet of Things with the application of theoretical, computational and analytical approaches.
Specific themes include:
We have wide ranges of research facilities and very keen to work with companies and industry partners. If you would like to collaborate with us, please get in touch !!
Prototype Development & Fabrication
We have a wide array of state-of-the-art solar energy equipment available for use in both research and teaching. This not only enhances the student experience but also provides opportunities for collaboration with industry and academic partners.
All other equipment are also available for measurement and prototype fabrication. These include R&S RTO6 Oscilloscope, Rigol MSO8104 Oscilloscope , Keysight MSOX4104A Oscilloscope ,
Micron SM125 Optical Sensing Interrogator,
AQ6370D Telecom Optical Spectrum Analyzer 600 - 1700 nm , MegIQ VNA-0460e , Voltera V-one, FormlabsForm 3+, KeysightE4980A LRC Meter 20Hz to 2MHz,
Simulation software is based on the process of modeling a real phenomenon with a set of mathematical formulas. It is, essentially, a program that allows the user to observe an operation through simulation without actually performing that operation.
We have launched two new MSc Programmes:
We have two intakes September and January in a year. Please keep in touch with our programme Leader:
Dr. Luigi La Spada for DTSC Programme
Dr. Abdelfateh Kerrouche for Robotics Programme
If you have any interests with our works and facilities. Please keep in touch, so feel free to visit during normal office hours.
